Completion of multi-phased, third-party audits reaffirms company’s commitment to ensuring excellence in the management of quality, environmental, information security and occupational health and safety.
Access4, the leading wholesale provider of voice and Unified Communication-as-a-Service (UCaaS) solutions, has announced that the company has recently achieved four key ISO certifications reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, information and data security, and quality management across its management systems and everyday business processes.
Access4’s new ISO certifications follow 12 months of process management reviews and external audits in line with international standards including ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security management systems, ISO 9001:2015 for quality management systems, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management systems and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety.
“Achieving these certifications reaffirms our longstanding commitment to not only comply with international standards but also the implementation of an industry leading business management system focusing on quality, environmental responsibility, information security, and occupational health and safety – all of which will support our ability to achieve the gold standard in product development and ensure a culture of continuous business process improvement. In addition, being ISO compliant will support our focus on being able to attract and retain skilled employees, and ensure a sustained focus on partner, customer and supplier satisfaction,” says Tim Jackson, Managing Director of Access4.
As part of its quest for overall ISO certification, Access4 successfully demonstrated its framework for product development (planning, design and development) including extensive feedback workflows from industry managed services partners to support a culture of continuous innovative improvement in product design and delivery. With its new certifications, Access4 is now an industry leader in ensuring that its core processes are documented, and support compliance with the ISO standards, in particular around its continuous monitoring, management and improvement.
At the same time, being officially ISO-recognised will further turbocharge the company’s capacity to support partners with tenders in highly regulated industries while identifying opportunities to take on new initiatives as well as improving resilience and process efficiency across all company operations.
“Today, it’s more critical now than ever for organisations to proactively secure their IT environments, as well as outward, customer-facing systems, and effectively comply with regulations and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001,” says Lesley Smith, Access4’s Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel.
“Ultimately, we’re now better able to support customers which require partners they can trust in people, process and technologies in an increasingly uncertain global economic and geopolitical environment.”
“These third-party audits (and subsequent certification) conducted by an external and independent auditing body across data security as well as OH&S, quality and environmental management, are a testament to the many hours of work we’ve done to make this happen and will further empower and motivate our teams to collaborate, support growth, reduce risk and enhance productivity,” says Jackson.
